Formed 1 May '45 at Gwalior. Officers, some BORs, equipment and transport from 10th Air Formation Signals provided the framework for the unit which moved to Singapore in Oct/Nov '45 eventually taking responsibility for all RAF ground communications in Singapore and Malaya. Handed these responsibilities to 19 AFS in July '46 and disbanded on 15 Oct '46 at Jubbulpore.
