14th (North Somerset Yeomanry) Air Formation Signals

Members of the North Somerset Yeomanry who had served in 4 AFS were, on their return to the UK in the autumn of 1944, formed into 14 AFS to support 72 Wing, RAF. The unit went into suspended animation in October 1945 and was later resuscitated as a mechanised infantry unit.
